In 1977 David Gallegos received his Master of Fine Arts degree in Painting and Printmaking from the University of California - San Francisco. He moved to Hawaii in 1980, full time in 1997. David's Art has been featured in Architectural Digest, Art in America, Art Week, Smithsonian, Art Forum (With Ernest DeSoto) and the Encyclopedia of Important American Artists.
